I loved the video Mrs.E, because that is the truth among our generation nowadays.

This video was great to watch and it spokle the truth. I have to admit I have a bad habit of saying, you know? and like and this is something I am going to work on from now because it does sometimes diminish what I say, as well as being annoying to others.

I really enjoyed this poem....
Make us think about the way we should express yourself with our words.

This is nice video/poem. It lets you think about life. How it is our generation that we live in.

Wow! I can't believe a video was actually made just to illustrate how "unprofessional" our generation sounds. It makes a lot of sense because everything ends with a "like," and "you know."

i talk fairly fast to an extent that i do not think before i speak.it is undisiplined and does not show elegance and self control.i need to change this thank you.

This poem/video is so true and entertaining!! Youth these days (guilty as charged!) tend to speak like we dont know how to. I have changed a lot in my manner of speech, and I am thankful to God I was able to attend a High School full of students that speak proper, most of the time at least. I get really frustrated when teens (and adults too!) speak wrongly on purpose. Its time this generation changes.

Mrs Evelyn. I remember someone once said to me.."ooh Yinka is that how you really speak. I thought you would speak posh with the way you looked. I realised speaking using "likes" and "you knows" is really unattractive. You would think being in an English speaking country you would be able to speak proper English..nope it is not like that. I noticed that people that come from other non-English speaking countries speak better English than those who grew up in a English speaking country.

The same way we(youths) learnt how to speak with slang is the same way we will learn how to speak proper English.

The poem was very good by the way. Thanks xxx

My English teacher always corrected us when we spoke improper English or used too much, 'um,' 'like,' 'ya get me?' And I have always have that impulse to correct others too :( but I think that if we work hard to make it a trend to speak properly, people will eventually catch on. At least I'd like to think so. lol

My goodness this is an eye opener indeed. Especially with the generation of today everything is 'like' 'I must have said' and that whole lingo. We really need to learn to speak with much conviction.

Thanks for sharing Mrs E

Couldnt help but laugh,
I am guilty, though I have improved in a great way. Like you know? (just playing)

Hearing this, from this perspective really illustrated how silly we sound we we dont speak with Conviction.

I am glad I watched this, and Thank you for sharing!

I enjoyed this video. We should not be lazy with our speech, for it is the window to who we are. People around us can hardly understand us with proper speech. With improper speech, we certainly will never be understood. We will not make any difference at all.
